About Best Transportation Services

Established in 1987, Best Messenger Service Inc. has grown to be one of the most flexible delivery service companies in Chicago and suburbs. Best Messenger's initial goal was to provide "the Best" messenger service and courier service in the industry. In 1999, Best Messenger expanded by providing local LTL delivery and expedited trucking in Chicago. Expanding the fleet with lift-gated st. trucks, a hazardous material service, and refrigerated deliveries, Best was positioning itself to offer a variety of delivery services based on the customer's needs. In 2006, Best Messenger once again diversified its fleet by adding a tractor-trailer / truckload service. By offering all vehicle sizes and a variety of transit times, Best is viewed as a "do it all carrier" to most of its customers. Because Best was offering a full range of transportation solutions, Best Messenger changed its name to Best Transportation Services Inc. in 2007. In 2011, Best Transportation Services has moved to a new 18,000 sq. foot facility in order to expand our warehousing services and delivery services to our customers. Best Transportation also has expanded services levels in 2011 by opening up a brokerage division, Best Logistics Services. The goal of Best Logistics Services is to fully compliment our local delivery efforts and provide a "one stop shop" for our customers transportation needs.

Best is co-owned by three individuals with over 60 years experience in transportation. Our highly experienced customer friendly staff is available 24/7 to help provide delivery solutions. With a state of the art operating system, Best can offer you many "value added" services that are not available with other carriers. Our delivery specialists are all fully uniformed, carry an ID badge, carry the required insurance coverage, and portray an outstanding image to your customers.
